About Me
From Engineering to Fashion
My professional journey might seem unconventional, but it’s a testament to the fact that following your passions can lead to fulfilling and unexpected paths. I initially pursued a degree in engineering, but soon realized that my true passion lay elsewhere. I wished to start my own firm in textile sector.
As an intern I joined in garment manufacturing company and in buying house just to gain hands-on experience working with various fabrics, understanding production processes, and learning the intricacies of the industry. These experiences were crucial in shaping my approach to design and refining my skills. They provided me with practical insights and a strong foundation.
Then I did a Postgraduate degree in Fashion Design at Pearl Academy of fashion to know more about this industry. I was able to learn a lot in the world of textiles, design principles, and garment creation.
My works:
I take pride in making few outfits which i found it to be necessary as I am not able to source what I really wanted. It all started after becoming a mom😊
So worked on..
Maternity wear (free of zips and buttons so as not to hurt baby by any means),
Kids elasticated cotton nappy(softly elasticated as I hate to use diaper for my babies),
My boy's woven trousers (which they roughly used nearly 4 long years-still not torn),
My own casual top and bottom wear(as I hate knits :) ).
I started specializing in my bottom wear collections. My woven trousers never snug my body, more breathable and made me comfortable in all my stretchy poses.
Specializing in casual outfits gave me more confidence in starting up this brand, where I could provide the best quality to my customers and I am always looking for new ways to grow and learn.
So..
' Staying bliss with comfortable outfits is the utmost care you give yourself.'
